Best Western Carthage Inn & Suites

The room was good but there was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower containers. The front desk attendant gave me a good greeting . Overall a good stay .

We stayed 3 nights in this Best Western! We are in their reward program and have stayed in a lot of Best Westerns! This has been one of the best ones! We are on the bottom floor in a king room and have slept great! It’s quiet and has a ceiling fan that has helped keep it really cold! Jonathan at the front desk is the nicest most accommodating guy we have ever had the pleasure to deal with! He is always standing ready to help or doing something to keep busy! Always speaks to us every time we come and go! Give him a raise! Our son is working here for 6 months so we will be back! Thanks! Jason

We chose this Best Western because of other excellent reviews. Location was easy to find with eating places close by. We actually went to a Mexican restaurant recommended by the night clerk, Jonathan (I think). Excellent food at a good price. It was packed on Saturday night but we got a table immediately in the large dining rooms. Rooms and common areas were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were up to date. All linens were good quality and looked new. Rooms were quiet even though there were quite a few other people coming in. Excellent value. No problems at all.

The breakfast was the best part. The Texas shaped waffle was hilarious. There's not a whole lot of places to stay in Carthage, and this place had the best reviews. So it's where we booked a room for the night. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was clean and comfortable. The TV was nice, and the couch and coffee table in the room were a nice touch. It was what it was. Nothing special, but nothing disgusting either. I doubt I'll ever be in Carthage Texas again, but if I am, I'll stay here.

This was a good hotel for the cost. The room was nice but there was no remote for the TV. Other than that, no complaints. Breakfast was also ready early (5:30ish).

We had a great stay! We were on the top floor so we didn't have to worry about people above us, but we did not hear anyone in the rooms beside us like you do in some hotels with paper thin walls. Our TV wouldn't work at first maybe due to recent storms. The front desk guy personally came up to reset it for us and it began working. The staff was very nice. When we went down to the pool they even offered us extra towels. They also recommended a nearby restaurant when we asked about good places to eat. The room was large and clean. The shower had good hot water and nice pressure. I would recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. My room was very clean and comfortable. Jonathan was the host during our stay, and he was fantastic. He took care of our group and really went out of his way to make out stay great. Jonathan was awesome. We will certainly look to stay here our next time through all due to Jonathan's efforts.

I would have gave a 5 but the comforter was stained, had tears and holes in it. The sheets had some stains also. Other than that the hotel is very nice, great customer service at the front desk. They were always very welcoming. The room was very nice and clean. It was quiet there and they have a pond in the back. The breakfast was really good especially the waffle. This location actually served bacon which is the first Best Western I have ever been to that served bacon. I wish all locations served bacon. This is the first hotel that I have ever visited that had a ceiling fan in the room which was very cool. I would definitely would visit this location again.
